What to expect at practice sessions:

Fitness tests and Player safety

Health and safety of our players are paramount. Our coaches are well trained, responsible and tests are organised and efficiently administered.

Strength and conditioning

Our strength and conditioning combines strength training with aerobic/anaerobic conditioning. We focus on the essential fitness skills and development that players need during actual gameplay situations.

Tackling skills and techniques

Tackling and being tackled are integral parts of rugby. Coaching basic tackle skills/techniques and reinforcing of tackling techniques

Rucking skills and techniques

Rucking is not just about physical strength and technique, but it also involves decision-making at each ruck. We guide players to read different game situations, make quick decisions and reacting accordingly.

Ball carry techniques

With rugby defences systems getting more aggressive and an increase in turnovers at the breakdown, we focus on correct techniques that can be used when taking the ball into contact.

Position specific sessions

Different positions in rugby require a considerably different skill set and the physical demands of each position will be different. We aim to maximize the development of each player on and off the field.
